I'm really enjoying creating these big detailed pieces and this is no exception. The hare is centred in a detailed frame of bracken and ivy, with the obligatory bright red toadstools of course. I decided to go with a golden colour for the moon and stars, rather than my usual silver, to pick up the rich colour palette, and I think it works wonderfully.
The magnificent frame is a vintage find, it's wonderfully chunky and yet elegant and is finished with gold guilding wax. This piece isn't behind glass. The frame itself is approximately 100cm tall by 60cm wide.
Due to the size, weight and value of this item I will be delivering it personally, if you live outside the circled area on the map please contact me prior to purchase. I'm also very happy for the piece to be collected and would be happy with payment on delivery/collection if preferred.
